TWO WAYS TO RUN IT

1. Cold up front, dry in back
Shut the two interior doors and the Thermo King unit cools the front compartment below 40°F, while the rear of the box carries everything that doesn't need refrigeration. On a 95°F Phoenix day we measured 36°F in the front compartment of one of these trucks.

2. Cool the entire box
Open the interior doors and the unit cools the full 12 ft box. A circulation fan at the rear of the box pulls air from the back and sends it back to the unit, so air keeps moving through the whole cargo area. On a 70°F day we have seen the entire box drop below 40°F. In peak summer heat (110°F) the full box runs around 60°F, so keep anything that must stay cold in the front compartment on those days.
